A Thoughtful Reflection On Endurance: The Extraordinary Feminine Wisdom Of The Rare Coco De Mer Seed
On a sleepless night, while lost in thought about what an unpredictable year it’s been, I mindlessly scrolled through social channels when the frequency of a young jazz musician scatting over a playful bossa nova track grabbed my attention. The frequency of his...
Beauty as Cultural Language: Power, Identity & Reclamation
Beauty has never been neutral. Long before it was reduced to trends, routines, or billion-dollar product lines, beauty functioned as language, a way communities signaled belonging, resistance, status, spirituality, and survival. For Black and diasporic cultures in...

Kezia M. Williams takes a
look back at the beginnings
of The Black upStart
For six years, I led a $25 million dollar entrepreneurship program at the United Negro College Fund teaching African-American students about business creation before college graduation. A Note From Our Editor
“After many years of being in entrepreneurship, I believe in the transformative power of self-leadership and the importance of embracing one’s authentic self. I recognize that in a world craving inspiration and empowerment, there is a need for a platform that celebrated individuals who were fearlessly owning their moment and making a positive impact.
CUFF Magazine is a sanctuary for stories of courage and success. It is a place where individuals from various industries could share their journeys, highlighting how they embraced their talents and strengths to achieve remarkable success.“
